Our primary method for remedial sealing is injection waterproofing. This involves:
- Drilling angled holes (typically at 45°) on both sides of the joint to intersect at the midpoint
- Injecting water-reactive resins into the joint, allowing them to fill voids and seal active leaks
We use RASCOflex Acrylic Resin Gel, a soft but compact gel that expands on contact with water. The resin does not bond to concrete but creates a waterproof seal by increasing in volume, effectively displacing water and preventing further ingress, even under pressure.
