We’re delighted to welcome Liam Leonard AMICT CSSW to the team at Rascor Waterproofing UK & Ireland as he joins us as our new Technical Director, strengthening our commitment to excellence in structural waterproofing.
Liam brings with him a wealth of industry experience, having started his career in 2008 as a site operative and progressing through to senior leadership roles, including Head of Technical with leading organisations such as DB Group, Sika, and Wykamol / Mapei. Throughout his career, Liam has played a key role in driving standards, developing processes, and leading teams across all aspects of structural waterproofing.
His technical expertise spans all forms of waterproofing, beginning with Type B Waterproofing and expanding into Type A and Type C systems. Liam is also highly regarded within the industry for his role with the Property Care Association, where he conducts oral examinations for the CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) qualification, as well as delivering specialist training programmes.
Further demonstrating his influence within the sector, Liam was part of the committee responsible for the rewrite of BS8102:2022. He holds both the CSSW qualification and an AMICT in Concrete Technology from the University of Derby.
